About:

Noah Boyce (born April, 2006) is a British experimental filmmaker based in Brighton. Growing up in a rural village in the Norfolk countryside, Noah taught himself how to use a camera creating experimental films and new-media videos. Starting from no training or connections, he quickly built up his experience and a vast filmography of over a hundred short films with his work screening at film festivals around the globe. Noah is currently studying filmmaking at the University of Sussex in tandem with his work as a freelance filmmaker whilst continuing to lead film clubs and ambitious creative projects.

Particular accomplishments include being selected for prestigious film courses delivered by the BFI and National Film and Television School, garnering over 50,000 viewers of his work across social media and screening a film at the Prince Charles Cinema in London. As well as becoming one of the youngest filmmakers ever to be selected for Slamdance International Film Festival leading to his work gaining acclaim in the heart of Los Angeles, all by the age of 18.

“I love to tell stories and try to put my passion to create things into everything I do. I sit writing this as I twizzle a fridge magnet in my hand, I have no idea where I got it from but the slightly corny yet inspiring message reads; ‘A dream that doesn’t scare you is not big enough’.  I endeavour to punch for goals high above my weight and in times to come I hope to continue creating stories that truly connect with people and put them into the world with a determination that remains ever unshaken!”

Noah Boyce campaigning and activism.

“I’ve participated in a number of campaigns for charities over the years such and passionately consider myself an advocate for a variety of causes ranging from educational under-privilege to environmental conservation and would therefore appreciate it if people could take the time to read about the linked charities I have been affiliated with in the past and consider donating to further support them!

I am currently with Sussex Writes teaching creative writing workshops in schools focused on breaking the ridged framework that academia sets on creativity. I have taught similar classes with communities in Ghana and aim to do more in hopes of inspiring the next generation of writers”
